It’s another big night at the UFC Apex, in Las Vegas, on Saturday night and we’ve got all the news about fighter pay ahead of the latest Fight Night.
Fight Night 235 payouts might not be the most important thing to the fighters as they step inside the Octagon but coming out the other end they’ll still want to know how much they’ll be taking home with them. Whoever picks up the UFC bonuses will of course walk away with even more cash in their pocket.
Attention will be on the middleweights in the main event as Roman Dolidze and Nassourdine Imavov look to cement their place in the top 10 in the rankings. We’ve got all the updates on Dolidze vs Imavov payouts ahead of their meeting.
The co-main event sees two lightweights who don’t like the judges to decide who will win their bouts and you can well imagine one of the UFC bonuses for Fight of the Night coming from Moicano vs Dober. Stick around for all the UFC fighter pay news this weekend.
UFC Fighter Pay: What Will Dolidze and Imavov Be Paid At UFC Fight Night 235?
The main event this weekend sees number eighth ranked lightweight Dolidze attempting to defend his position in the rankings against Imavov, who sits in 11th place currently. It’s a division that’s seen plenty of movement recently, with the title changing hands on two occasions in four months.
Saturday night’s headliners will be motivated by an attempt to climb up the rankings in an attempt to get their own future title shot but the UFC Fight Night 235 prize money will no doubt help motivate them.
Georgian Dolidze has been a professional MMA fighter since 2018 and moved to the UFC in July 2020, he’s had eight fights in the three and a half years since joining the organization with a 6-2 winning record.
It’s been reported that the European fighter has a net worth in the region of $1 million, from his near six years in the business.
His most recent fight was a loss to Marvin Vettori in May 2023. It was the opening fight on the main card of UFC 286, where Leon Edwards defended his welterweight crown against Kamaru Usman.
Despite the fight being on pay-per-view, the loss and the opening slot meant that he walked away with UFC prize money in the region of $86,000.
Being in the closing slot this time around should earn the 35-year-old a healthier UFC Fight Night 235 payout, in the first main event of his career so far.
According to reports, he’s set to pick up a check of $256,000 at the end of his night’s work against Imavov.
Russian-born Frenchman Imavov also started his professional MMA career in 2016 and made his UFC debut in 2020, mirroring this weekend’s opponent.
He has a 4-2-1 record in Dana White’s promotion so far and will be looking to get back to winning ways after two fights without a victory.
The 28-year-old’s estimated net worth is something of a question mark, although most reports believe it is around $800,000. Some have claimed that it could be well over $1 million, however, with one even suggesting it could be as much a $5 million, though that is an unsubstantiated claim.
Whilst his opponent is main eventing for the first time on Saturday night, the UFC Fight Night 253 payouts might not be the most the Imavov has received in his career, having previously topped the bill.
That came at UFC Fight Night 217 last year, where he faced Sean Strickland, and it’s claimed he made around $200,000 on that night. He is expected to surpass that this time out though, with a similar $256,000 payday to his opponent.
UFC Payouts: What the Rest of the Card Can Expect
It’s not just the Dolidze vs Imavov payouts we’ve got our eyes on though and there are some interesting fights throughout the card on UFC Fight Night 253. We’ve got all the news on the rest of the UFC fighter pay for this weekend.
Muslim Salikhov and Randy Brown were supposed to take each other on at UFC 296 but Brown has to pull out through injury. Now they finally get the chance to meet, we aren’t sure if their UFC payouts have been affected by moving from the pay-per-view card.
Molly ‘Meatball’ McCann is hoping she can get back to winning way, after losing her most recent two fights on the bounce. She takes on Diana Belbiţă who also lost last time out.
Drew Dober: $110,000
Renato Moicano: $98,000
Randy Brown: $85,000
Makhmud Muradov: $72,000
Molly McCann: $70,000
Viviane Araujo: $58,000
There’s no guarantee on how much each of the UFC payouts will be this weekend and our UFC Fight Night 253 prize money information is just estimations based on previous pay for the fighters and other events.
