Before they take the ring, we take a look at Cordina vs Cacace purse details.

Cordina vs Cacace Purse: The Welshman to Bag Big

Understandably, Fury vs Usyk will be the highlight of the night in the Saudi Arabian capital. That said, there are some mouthwatering undercard offerings as well. Cordina vs Cacace will serve as the perfect appetizer before the main event.

The Saudis are not known for their frugality. It’s not hard to predict that all the fights will put incredibly lucrative offers on the table, and the Cordina vs Cacace prize money is no exception.

Of course, the official Cordina vs Cacace payouts information is still under wraps. We, however, did some digging and came up with some interesting findings.

According to reports, the pay-per-view bout between Cordina and Cacace will see the Cardiff man banking more than $400k. His opponent, on the other hand, will take home at least $250k.

Let’s look at the reported payouts from their previous fights to put these numbers into context.

Boxing Fighter Pay – Cordina & Cacace

It makes sense that Cordina receives the larger split, given he is the IBF champion. At -575, he walks into the ring as the heavy favorite. Cacace is at +400 to unify his IBO title with the IBF one.

The Cordina vs Cacace purse is expected to deliver career-best amounts for both fighters. Cordina, who has a reported $1.5 million net worth, reportedly raked in $275k from his majority decision victory against Edward Vasquez in November.

That means, he is set to make at least $125k more than his previous earning record, which is a sweet 45 percent increase. Cordina made a combined total of $475k from his fights against Vasquez and Shavkat Rakhimov last year.

Now, let’s turn our attention to Cacace, the man from Belfast.  He will be getting a 2.5x increase compared to his previous highest payout. The 35-year-old earned $100k for beating Damian Wrzesiński at the SSE Arena in his hometown last year.

Cacace's previous fights against Michael Magnesi and Lyon Woodstock netted him $75,000 and $50,000 respectively. This upcoming fight guarantees him double his combined earnings from those two bouts.

These numbers might pale in comparison to the mammoth sums Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury will be making from the main card event in Riyadh. Still, this is a big night for Cordina and Cacace. They will be walking away with the best boxing fighter pay checks of their career.

Beyond the potential for unification, therefore, the financial windfall of the fight adds another layer of excitement to this Joe Cordina vs Anthony Cacace face-off.
