Russ Anber Helps Us Look At Ulysse v Seldin

Russ Anber, who you saw in the corner of Vasyl Lomachenko Dec. 9, is as sharp a tack as there is on the Canadian boxing scene. The fightgame lifer checked in with NYF to give us a better sense of what the Yves Ulysse vs Cletus Seldin welterweight plus clash might look like tonight, in Montreal and on HBO.

“Ulysse is a good fighter,” Anber told me. “He has good skills…not a huge puncher, but solid. Good amateur background. Not to be taken lightly. The kid can fight. Still tough to say what happens when he steps up, but he definitely has got some talent.”

So, is this a coin flip fight?

“I don't think this is a walk in the park for Seldin,” finished the cornerman.

Oh, and I reached someone who has fought both men. Renald Garrido, in France, told me he thinks we see Seldin win, by KO.

And what do you predict for Ulysse vs Seldin, friends?
