NEW YORK CITY (February 5, 2018) Local undefeated crosstown rivals NOEL MURPHY (12-0, 2 KOs), of Woodlawn, New York, and Brooklyn's MIKKEL LESPIERRE (18-0-1, 8 KOs) will clash in a 10-round welterweight bout for the vacant World Boxing Council – United States National Boxing Council (WBC USNBC) title in the main event this Wednesday night, February 7, on DIBELLA ENTERTAINMENT's next installment of the acclaimed BROADWAY BOXING series at B.B. King Blues Club and Grill, in Times Square, New York.

King Blues Club and Grill with such an action-packed card on Wednesday,” said LOU DIBELLA, President of DiBella Entertainment. “Fans in attendance and those watching on our Facebook page will see a terrific main event between unbeaten welterweights Irish Noel Murphy and Mikkel LesPierre, two exciting young heavyweights in Oleksandr Teslenko and Stephan Shaw, and one of the best prospects at super featherweight, Spain's Jon Fernandez. Popular local fighters Jude Franklin and Jonathan Arroyo also appear.”

Tickets for BROADWAY BOXING, promoted by DiBella Entertainment and presented by Nissan of Queens, Azad Watches, OPTYX, and Christos Steak House, are currently on sale and are priced at $125, $100, $75 and $55. Tables are also available for purchase for this event, with VIP tables going for $1,000 per table (5 seats at $200 per seat), Ringside tables for $500 (5 seats at $100), and $375 tables (5 seats at $75). In a special attraction eight-round junior lightweight bout, top prospect JON FERNANDEZ (14-0, 12 KOs), of Madrid, Spain, will make his New York City debut against battle-tested veteran FATIOU FASSINO (28-8-3, 15 KOs), of Fort Washington, Maryland. The 22-year-old Fernandez has quickly built a reputation as one of the most heralded and exciting prospects in boxing. With two stunning knockouts telecast on SHOWTIME in 2017, Fernandez also finished the year on the highly respected list of Dan Rafael's ESPN Top Prospects of 2017. In his last bout, Fernandez won the WBC Silver super featherweight title with a sixth-round stoppage of the previously unbeaten Alexander Podolsky.

Two promising and undefeated heavyweight prospects will make their New York City and DBE debuts on Wednesday night. Ukrainian heavyweight OLEKSANDR “Sasha” TESLENKO (11-0, 9 KOs), managed by Gary Freedman and fighting out of Toronto, Canada, will face KEENAN HICKMAN (6-2-1, 2 KOs), of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, in a scheduled eight-round battle. The powerful 6'5″ 25-year-old Teslenko, born in Chernivtsi, Ukraine, took up boxing at age eight at the behest of his father. As an amateur, Teslenko became a three-time Ukrainian National champion while accumulating an impressive 224-23 record. During this time, Teslenko also earned a degree in Marketing from the University of Chernivtsi and served in the Ukrainian Army alongside DBE stablemate Ivan Golub.

STEPHAN SHAW (9-0, 6 KOs), of St. Louis, Missouri, will clash in a six-round heavyweight bout against JOEL CAUDLE (7-1-1, 5 KOs), of Raleigh, North Carolina. Following a stellar amateur career that included 2013 PAL and USA National Championships titles, Shaw turned professional in December 2013. Managed by David McWater's Split-T Management, Shaw trains with four-time Olympic Boxing coach Basheer Abdullah out of Arena Gym in San Diego, California.

In a six round all-Brooklyn showdown, 22-year-old JUDE “King Zar” FRANKLIN (6-0, 5 KOs), battles FLORIANO “Flash” PAGLIARA (16-7-2, 7 KOs). Trained by Elmo Serrano out of Gleason's Gym, Franklin has built a reputation quickly since turning professional two years ago with his show-stopping knockouts, but will be facing his toughest opposition in the experienced Italian.

East Hartford, Connecticut's top welterweight prospect, 19-year-old “Marvelous” MYKQUAN WILLIAMS (9-0-0, 5 KOs) will make his New York City debut against PRESTON WILSON (4-2-1, 3 KOs), of Parkersburg, West Virginia, in a scheduled six-rounder. Managed by the renowned JACKIE KALLEN, Williams has played to packed houses in the New England area over the last two years, as local fight fans have become enamored with his all-action style. He was also a decorated amateur with a 45-13 record, highlighted by three gold-medal performances at the Ringside World Championships, in addition to winning the PAL Tournament and Silver Gloves Championships.

Long Island newcomer JONATHAN ARROYO (1-0), of Patchogue, takes on pro-debuting ANDREA CREPALDI, of Manhattan, New York, over four rounds.
