Michael WoodsCanelo Alvarez has responded to the aspersions cast against him by rival Gennady Golovkin, which came out during a media session on Tuesday.
Canelo was dirty, said the Kazakh boxer, in the strongest statements he’s ever uttered publicly. He was dirty and so is his promoter, said GGG, going the extra mile in the trash talking department.
Golden Boy Promotions personnel said they’d be considering a legal action to rebut the GGG slaps. That’s being considered, said Golden Boy executive Eric Gomez today.
The Mexican hitter made known tonight that he’d like to handle it his way.
