The rumor is making the rounds, hard, on the social media tonight.

Manny Pacquiao versus Adrien Broner.

The Senator and the colorful character from Cincinnati…

Could it be?

Broner trainer Mike Stafford, counting down to an ESPN headliner date with client Jamel Herring, didn't shoot down Broner-Pacquiao when I asked him about it. “Bob Arum and Al Haymon been talking,” Stafford told me. “We want the names. Pacquiao, Tim Bradley, Danny Garcia. We need these name fights, things slowing down.”

Then, I asked Pacman advisor Michael Koncz if he could speak to the Manny v Broner….

“Not yet,” he replied.

Hmm…Maybe there is something to this…
