on

Who loves waking up in the middleweight of the night to watch huge fights taking plan in Japan?

Show of hands for everyone interested in a celebrity boxing rematch between two YouTubers making their pro debuts.

Anyone?

Okay but what about watching BJ Saunders, Devin Haney and Jamel Herring do their thing this weekend?

Yeah? Okay, awesome.

Here’s where to watch the most important fights this weekend via all the many available platforms now vying for your attention in the U.S. In addition to the action listed below, there is a minor card available via UFC Fight Pass on Thursday night and a U.K. show on Saturday during the day on DAZN.

Thursday, November 7, 2019

What: Naoya Inoue (18-0, 16 KOs) vs Nonito Donaire (40-5, 26 KOs) (Watch the reaction from Kelsey McCarson and the missus Rachel McCarson, on their YouTube show!)

Where: Super Arena, Saitama, Japan

When: 5 am ET

How: DAZN

Why: It’s the most important fight of the weekend. Inoue-Donaire will either be Inoue’s coronation as one of the very best fighters in boxing or Donaire’s shocking return to the top of the sport. Whatever happens, it happens super early here in the U.S., so in order to see it live you’ll need to set your alarm.

Other Notable Bouts: Nordine Oubaali vs Takuma Inoue, bantamweights, 12 rounds

Saturday, November 9, 2019

What: KSI (0-0) vs. Logan Paul (0-0)

You may or may not care, but many will care enough to see what the Logan Paul vs KSI rematch looks like.

You may or may not care, but many will care enough to see what the Logan Paul vs KSI rematch looks like.

Where: Staples Center, Los Angeles, California

When: 9 pm ET

How: DAZN

Why: For being celebrity boxers, the first fight between KSI and Logan Paul wasn’t really all that bad. This time, the two won’t be donning headgear because it’s an officially sanctioned professional fight between two debut fighters. And if that isn’t your thing, the undercard is stacked with legit world level fighters and up-and-coming prospects.

Other Notable Bouts: Billy Joe Saunders vs Marcelo Esteban Caceres, super middleweights, 12 rounds; Devin Haney vs Alfredo Santiago, lightweights, 12 rounds; Ronny Rios vs Hugo Berrio, super bantamweights, 12 rounds

What: Jamel Herring (20-2, 10 KOs) vs Lamont Roach Jr. (19-0-1, 17 KOs)

Where: Chukchansi Park in Fresno, California

When: 10 pm ET

How: ESPN+

Why: Herring makes the first defense of the WBO junior lightweight title he won against Masayuki Ito in May. Roach in a talented prospect taking his first chance at a world title. It’s a big fight between two excellent professionals for a world title on a slow weekend. Who could ask for anything more than that?

Other Notable Bouts: Kubrat Pulev vs Rydell Booker, heavyweights, 10 rounds; Janibek Alimkhanuly vs Albert Onolunose, middleweights, 10 rounds; Esquiva Falcao vs Manny Woods, middleweights, 10 rounds
