This Man Volunteers To Fight Jamel Herring In Next Defense For Top Rank Champ

Samir Ziani, a 33-3-1 Frenchman, watched Jamel Herring's win over Lamont Roach Saturday and here's his reaction:

Lemme fight Herring.

The France-based boxer…

..managed by Irishman Gary Hyde, is a Euro champion. In his last outing, on Oct. 26, downed Faroukh Kourbanov, and he said he wants to challenge the fighting pride of Coram, Long Island.

Hyde filled me in on Ziani. “He lost a disputed decision to Richard Commey a few years back
and a narrow points defeat to Guillaume Frenois, who lost by decision to IBF 130 pound champion Tevin Farmer,” the manager stated of the 29 year old ranked No. 13 by the IBF. “Ziani is an all action fighter with a tremendous work rate.

“I have just defended the EBU title and I am ready to challenge for a world title now,” said Ziani. “Boxing fans love my style of combat so I hope I get the chance to showcase my skills in early 2020. Myself and WBO champion Jamel Herring would be a mouth watering clash!”

Check out Samir's skill set for yourself; here he is in action against Juli Giner, in Barcelona.
