It is not the foe or the fight he wanted, Terence Crawford wanted a big, big name, with the attendant payday. But this is the pandemic period, and things are not, frankly, ideal for many folks. So, it is what it is…

Kell Brook will stand across from the Nebraska welterweight ace in Las Vegas Saturday night, and bear the brunt, maybe, of his frustration, at not snagging a Spence fight/check, or Pacman payday.

The WBO 147 champ and the Englishman made weight Friday at the Bubble, so, after getting the OK from a COVID standpoint, they will rumble, in a clash which screens on ESPN.

Here are the other tangos on the Top Rank card, and the weights for the combatants:

Brook looks ripped….but at what cost? Did making 147 after being at 154 for a spell sap him too much? (Mikey Williams/Top Rank via Getty Images)
