There’s a big update on WWE Crown Jewel 2026. Riyadh Season recently informed fans that the event will no longer take place at the venue.
Crown Jewel was announced on the August 31 edition of Monday Night Raw, being scheduled to take place in Riyadh on November 7. However, amid escalating regional tensions linked to the war involving Iran and Iranian-backed Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia, the US Embassy in Riyadh issued numerous security alerts in the past few weeks urging citizens to reconsider their travel plans in the region.
There had been a lot of pushback from fans worldwide, who believed WWE could cancel or reschedule the event as it was no longer safe to host a wrestling event. TKO CEO Ari Emanuel recently commented on the situation, saying, “Everything is still set.” But it now appears that Crown Jewel will no longer be taking place at Riyadh Season Stadium.
