Hours before this week’s Monday Night Raw, fans were speculating about the future of Carmelo Hayes on social media after the wrestler had blacked out his X profile picture.
On this week’s Raw, however, Carmelo Hayes ended up making his return during 946’s match against The Bloodline. He attacked Solo Sikoa with a crowbar as the latter looked to deliver a Samoan Spike on Royce Keys.
This was Hayes’ first WWE appearance since the August 14 edition of SmackDown, where he faced Baron Corbin for the United States Championship.

Carmelo Hayes Was Personally Requested In 946 By Royce Keys

The 946 group was first introduced in August. Before Hayes’ arrival, the group consisted of Royce Keys (leader) as well as Bronco Nima, Lucien Price, and Jaida Parker.
Following Hayes’ return, False Finish shared that it was Keys’ decision to bring the wrestler to the group.
“False Finish has learned that Royce Keys asked WWE to bring Carmelo Hayes to 946.
Hayes was off TV as they continued building the story.”

What’s Next For Carmelo Hayes?
Many fans are probably asking the same question. Even before he joined 946, Carmelo Hayes was often regarded as one of the best performers in WWE. His United States Title reign was fun to watch as a fan, which is why people couldn’t understand WWE’s decision to take him off television.
With 946 being a key part of Raw programming lately, it’ll be interesting to see how they use Hayes now.
