Roman Reigns has acknowledged Cody Rhodes.
One of the biggest wrestling storylines of this decade was the rivalry between Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes. The American Nightmare entered the ring against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39, wanting to finish his story in WWE. Unfortunately for Rhodes, his match with Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship ended with The Tribal Chief continuing his reign.
Fans were upset with this booking, and WWE faced heavy criticism. But in hindsight now, maybe this was for the best.
The next year, Rhodes won the Royal Rumble again, earning another title shot against Reigns at WrestleMania. This time, he had a lot more obstacles to overcome as well. The Rock had returned to the company, and he wanted to face his cousin at WrestleMania. The WWE Universe retaliated so the company had to pivot.
On Night 1 of WrestleMania, Rhodes teamed up with Seth Rollins against The Rock and Roman Reigns. They lost this match and so the Night 2 main event became a Bloodline Rules match. As the name suggests, The Bloodline was very prevalent during the bout.
We saw appearances from wrestlers such as John Cena, The Undertaker, The Rock, and more. None of it worked this time, however, as Rhodes finally delivered three Cross Rhodes to end his storyline.

Roman Reigns Believes Cody Rhodes Has Proved That He Has Been Able To Carry The WWE Banner
The current World Heavyweight Champion recently spoke with Complex, where he talked about building talent for the future.
He took himself and John Cena as examples, saying it takes around a decade to be able to carry WWE. Only one wrestler has shown that he can carry the billion-dollar wrestling juggernaut on his back, and it’s Cody Rhodes, according to Reigns. You can read his full comment below:
“As it’s been shown with John and then also with me, it takes a decade or so. Can you perform every single time and then deliver when you’re asked? Can you do it when you’re tired? Can you do it when you’re sick? Can you do it when you’re hungover after WrestleMania? Can you carry the banner for this company? This is a billion-dollar machine. It’s not easy. There’s only been one who’s been able to carry that banner, and that’s been Cody.”

Cody Rhodes Is Feuding With Randy Orton On WWE Programming
Cody Rhodes is currently feuding with Randy Orton on WWE television. They had a match at WrestleMania this year, where Rhodes won.
The Viper returned for another match at Sunday Night’s Main Event, and this time, he walked out victorious. Both wrestlers are continuing their storyline, so a third match is likely to take place later this year.
