On September 14, WWE Raw returned to Mexico City for the first time in 15 years. The main event of the night was a World Heavyweight Championship match between Roman Reigns and Penta.
The match was incredible, with both stars showing great chemistry against each other. Penta made everyone believe he could win the title off Reigns, but in the end, The OTC prevailed.

WWE Isn’t Considering A Rematch Between Penta And Roman Reigns
While many people wished WWE would pull the trigger on Penta and have him defeat Roman Reigns, there wasn’t really a strong possibility of this happening. Many fan-favorite stars have gone up against Reigns on their home soil, and fans believed that they should’ve won that night, but it never happened.
Many fans are speculating that WWE is saving this moment for when Oba Femi eventually faces Reigns for the title.
Both Penta and Reigns had an amazing performance in Arena CDMX, but it appears that a rematch between the two isn’t currently in the works.
This comes from WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select. They said:
“A rematch between Penta and Reigns is not currently planned.
However, given the reception both publicly and behind the scenes, it is a matchup that the company already feels it can go back to at any time and could headline a PLE in the future.”

People Within WWE Believe Penta Deserves The Opportunity To Remain In The Main Event Scene
WrestleVotes Radio also reported that several people within WWE believe that after Penta’s performance against Reigns in the World Title match, he deserves to remain in the top card.
“Following his match against Roman Reigns on WWE RAW, several people within the company believe Penta deserves the opportunity to remain towards the top of the card with the feeling that he established himself as a main eventer”
Well, most people wouldn’t disagree with this notion at all. The wrestler has been an amazing talent for WWE and is popular among fans.
