Early UFC on ESPN: Tybura vs Spivac 2 Predictions

There are no rest weeks for the UFC this summer and we are back to the UFC Apex for a wholesome heavyweight scrap and an overall interesting card. Here are our early Tybura vs Spivac 2 predictions.

UFC on ESPN 61 Main Card Predictions

Tybura vs Spivac 2 Prediction

Marcin Tybura is 38 years old and has a professional record that includes 25 wins and 8 losses. The Pole was successful in eight of his last ten fights, losing only on points to Alexander Volkov and ahead of schedule to Tom Aspinall. He had his last fight in March against Tai Tuivasa, whom he submitted in the 1st round.

The 29-year-old Serghei Spivac has a professional record of 16-3-0 and is coming from a rare loss. He won six of his last eight fights, losing only to Cyril Gane and Tom Aspinall by technical knockouts.

Bookmakers estimate the chances of victory to be around 50/50, which is rare for a main event, especially at heavyweight. Tybura is already 38 years old, and this nuance can seriously affect his physical readiness, although it should be noted that Spivac has not fought in 11 months. But he is a more complete fighter in modern days and 9 years younger, so we have to side with him for our Tybura vs Spivac 2 predictions.

Santos vs Chandler Prediction

‘Foxy' is going through the toughest period of her career. She made her UFC debut with a direct title fight and lost to Cris Cyborg in 2018. Since then, she had four wins in five fights until 2021. But now, she enters the octagon with three consecutive defeats and her last fight was over a year ago.

Chelsea Chandler also moved to the UFC from Invicta and has won two of her three fights in the promotion since then. She defeated Julija Stoliarenko and Josiane Nunes, only losing to Norma Dumont on points. She is four years younger than her opponent, which will certainly mean something in this fight.

We have to side with the American for our Tybura vs Spivac 2 predictions. The downtime will be a problem for Santos and her recent negative results left much to be desired. We doubt that she will bounce back with a shocking performance against a far more versatile fighter.

UFC Vegas 95 Prelims Predictions

Rosa vs Kianzad Prediction

The Brazilian is 29 years old, with a professional record of 17-6. She has been competing in MMA since 2012 and joined the UFC in 2019. In her recent fights, she has regularly alternated victories with losses. She lost her last fight to Irene Aldana, and earlier she defeated Yana Santos by split decision. She mostly prefers to rely on boxing, although she is not known for her knockout power.

The Swedish athlete is 32 years old, with a professional record of 16-8. The Scandinavian began her career in martial arts in 2012 and joined the UFC in 2019. She performed well at the initial stage but lost three of her last four fights. The last one to defeat her was Macy Chiasson in March.

There is a good chance that this will be one of the more boring fights on the card as neither of these two is one to take risks. They will try to score points through striking and the overall outcome is unpredictable.

However, we can side with Kianzad for our Tybura vs Spivac 2 predictions. Both have had bad performances lately but Kianzad faced far tougher opposition. The odds are extremely good and worth a shot.

Diniz vs Williams Prediction

Jhonata Diniz made his UFC debut in April of this year, knocking out Austin Lane in the 2nd round. The Brazilian had won all his fights in the same manner before, sending his previous six opponents to sleep. As a result, the 33-year-old fighter approaches his next UFC challenge with a perfect record (7-0).

On the other end of the Octagon, Karl Williams enters this contest with a 10-1 pro record. He lost early in his career and has been quite impressive since his UFC debut, winning all three fights against Lukasz Brzeski, Chase Sherman, and Justin Tafa.

Jhonata steamrolled his previous opponents, but this time he will face a tough test. Karl will not rush forward and will try to fight carefully at a distance. He is the type to fight for points. Betting on a winner here is a bad idea, so we have to pick over 2.5 rounds for our Tybura vs Spivac 2 predictions. The odds are great too.

Overall, there are a few fights on this card with interesting odds. The quality of the matches will not be the same as the previous Fight Night, for instance, but there are good opportunities to make money.
