Hank Lundy v Shinard Bunch Tops Friday Fightnight Live

Fightnight Live, the streaming series which kicked off in 2017, has become a home for fight fans to watch ascending talent before they hit a career apex.

This Friday, Dec. 9, FNL shows an eight bout card from Nedal’s Promotions, featuring warhorse Hank Lundy against young climber Shinard Bunch.

FNL will present another batch of fights the following weekend, to finish the year in boxing 2022 on a high note.

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (Dec. 6, 2022) – The air will be chilly but the action fiery in December as FloSports FIGHTNIGHT LIVE Powered by Everlast plans two consecutive weekends of outstanding, fan-friendly shows. The action opens on FloCombat and Facebook as popular platform partners with Nedal’s Promotions on Friday, Dec. 9, for an outstanding eight-bout event live at 7 p.m.from the Newtown Athletic Club in Pennsylvania.

Hank Lundy turns 39 in February, but this graybeard still has bite. He’s always in shape and looking to teach a young gun a lesson.

In Friday night’s main event, super lightweight contender Bunch (19-1-1, 16 KOs), of Trenton, N.J., via Queens, N.Y., will look to continue his rise in a formidable 10-round test against the veteran and former world-title challenger Lundy (31-11-1, 14 KOs) of Philadelphia. 

Popular area battlers Daiyaan Butt (12-2, 5 KOs) and John Leonardo (8-1-1, 4 KOs) are also featured.

“I had great sparring with elite fighters,  I’m more than ready to perform,” Butt told NYFIGHTS.

Foe Leonardo also checked in with NYF. “I’m very excited for this fight, despite my opponents’ record I think he’s a very skilled fighter and he’s been around,” he said. “But I think when one of my body shots hits him up the middle it’ll be certain to slow him down!”

Also, area up-and-comers Devin Gantt (1-0, 1 KO) and Juan Davila (1-0, 1 KO) look to defend unblemished records in separate contests on the eight-bout card.
