WBC USA and WBO International Super Middleweight champion Diego Pacheco (21-0, 17 KOs) weighed in at the limit of 168 pounds. So far, at age 23, the tall and rangy fighter can still make weight without a struggle. But he acknowledges one day, he will move up to the light heavyweight division – and a possible collision with his stablemate, David Benavidez Jr.

His opponent, sturdy veteran Maciej Sulecki of Poland (32-2, 12 KOs), weighed 167.4 pounds.
Asked about Pacheco's vow he would know Sulecki out, the Polish fighter responded, “No way, no way. He don't do this” in English.
Sulecki added, “I know what I can do. I have to be smart, quick, and just do what I always do.”

After weighing in, Pacheco said, “I'm feeling amazing, man. It's go time tomorrow night. Expect a great fight. We're going for the knockout. Everyone expects a war, and that's what we're coming to do tomorrow, give the fans a great fight.”
Matchroom Boxing chairman Eddie Hearn says he sees something new in Pacheco's eyes.
“You know, I remember the young man who came into the office at 17. Now he's a real man. He's a strong man, and he's already one of the best 168-pounders in the world. This is the progression from the YouTube Theater to the war grounds to Staples Center. This guy is going to be around for a long, long time,” said Hearn.
Hearn said Sulecki would test Pacheco. “So far in his career, he's already ranked number one in the world by the WBO. This guy is destined for greatness. He's destined for the championship.
“And tomorrow night, he performs in front of his people in Los Angeles at a great venue, on a great night of boxing, a great card. It's the biggest moment of Diego Pacheco's career. So far, I know he's ready.”
Clarke and Apochi Promise To Bring The Heat

British cruiserweight prospect Cheavon Clarke (9-0, 7 KOs) will face Efetobor Apochi of Nigeria (12-2, 12 KOs) on the undercard for the IBF International and WBA Intercontinental Cruiserweight titles. Clarke weighed just under the cruiserweight limit at 199.8 pounds, while Apochi weighed in at 199.2 pounds.
“When you look at a cruiserweight matchup like this, it promises to be an absolute war,” said Hearn.

In the co-main event on Saturday, super featherweight knockout artist Eduardo ‘Sugar’ Núñez of Los Mochis, Sinaloa, Mexico (27-1 27 KOs) faces former title challenger Miguel Marriaga of Colombia (31-7, 26 KOs). Núñez weighed in at 133 pounds, and Marriaga at 131.8 pounds. Hearn said of Núñez, “I think he's the new star of Mexican boxing.”

Also on the undercard, expect classic War Grounds action from Arturo Cardenas of Michoacan, Mexico (14-0-1, 8 KOs) as he defends his Continental Americas Super Bantamweight title against Jesus Arechiga of Mazatlan (21-1, 15 KOs). Cardenas weighed 121.2 pounds, and Arechiga at 122 pounds.

The televised action on DAZN Boxing begins with an interim world title fight. Adelaida Ruiz of Los Angeles (16-0-1, 8 KOs) defends her WBC World Super Flyweight title against former U.S. Olympic team member Ginny Fuchs of Houston, Texas (3-0, 1 KO). The champion Ruiz weighed 113.6 pounds, Fuchs at 114.4 pounds.

Recent Matchroom signing Fabian ‘Zurdo’ Rojo of Phoenix (9-0, 7 KOs) meets Alejandro Frias of Nayarit, Mexico (15-10-2, 7 KOs) in a six-round welterweight fight. Rojo weighed in at 145.8 pounds, Frias at 146.4 pounds.
Criztec Bazaldua of Los Angeles (5-0, 1 KO) faces Kyle Erwin of Oceanside, California (7-2, 3 KOs) over six rounds at super lightweight. Bazaldua weighed in at 140 pounds, Erwin at 140.8 pounds.
Alex Gueche of Long Beach, California (5-0, 5 KOs) opens the card with a six-round bantamweight fight against David Vargas of Durango, Mexico (8-4-2, 5 KOs). Gueche weighed in at 115.8 pounds, Vargas at 116 pounds.
