Joe Joyce, also known as ‘Juggernaut’, is one of the most powerful heavyweights in the modern era. At 38 years old, he has a record of 16-2-0 and is known for his devastating punches. While his pro stats may seem unimpressive, he had an extremely long amateur career and remains one of the most successful British boxers internationally.
He was representing Great Britain until he was 28 years old and won numerous championships. Most notably, he won a silver medal at the 2016 Olympics. As a professional, his biggest achievements include the WBC Silver, WBA Gold and WBO International belts.
Joyce won the WBO Interim Heavyweight title when he defeated Joseph Parker in September 2022. Undefeated, he ventured against Zhilei Zhang, losing twice in a row via KO and TKO. His most recent fight was knockout win over Kash Ali in March 2024.
His style includes aggressive pressure, powerful punches and excellent physical condition. Joyce is able to keep a high pace and withstand significant pressure, which makes him a dangerous opponent for any heavyweight. Over the years, his career had him face almost all of the greatest fighters of our time – Tyson Fury (three times), Vitali Klitschko, and Oleksandr Usyk, Joseph Parker (twice), and many others.
Despite numerous losses, Chisora always fights to the end, which makes him an unpredictable and dangerous opponent. And although he never won a world title, he was a challenger on multiple occasions.
In his last fight, Chisora defeated Gerald Washington by unanimous decision, showing that he can still compete at a high level. A year earlier, he faced Tyson Fury for the third time in his career, losing by TKO in the 10th round.
