Previously he wrote features for ESPN The Magazine and ESPN.com and served as columnist for the Globe and Mail in Toronto. His mystery series of novels set in the world of hockey was adapted for the TV series Private Eyes, starring Jason Priestley and broadcast in more than 100 nations worldwide.
