Frank Warren Signs New Queensberry Deals With 6 Fighters

Promoter Frank Warren of the UK-based Queensberry Promotions announced this week his organization has signed six title-holding fighters to new, long-term promotional agreements with Queensberry.

Two World Champions Staying With Queensberry

WBA world featherweight champion Nick “Wrecking” Ball (21-0-1, 12 KOs) has signed an extension following his first title defense in Liverpool against Ronny Rios on October 5.

Joining Ball is IBF world super featherweight champion Anthony Cacace of Ireland (23-1, 8 KOs). Cacace sent former world champion Josh Warrington into retirement, retaining his IBO world title at Wembley Stadium on September 21.

IBO world super bantamweight champion Liam Davies has also committed his future to Queensberry ahead of his title defense against fellow Brit Shabaz Masoud in Birmingham on November 2. Davies previously secured the British and European, along with the WBC and WBO International titles.

Middleweight contender Hamzah Sheeraz, who currently has a 15-fight consecutive knockout streak, signed a long-term extension.

Sheeraz played the role of Queensberry team captain in the stunning sweep against Matchroom Boxing in the 5vs5 team challenge in Saudi Arabia on June 5.
Sheeraz added the European title with a victory over Tyler Denny at Wembley Stadium in London. Sheeraz is also the Commonwealth and WBC Silver champion.

World-leading heavyweight prospect Moses Itauma, represented by leading boxing manager Francis Warren, is another man with enormous potential to sign a new deal.

The former amateur world champion is gaining fans with every appearance since turning professional at the beginning of 2023. Itauma now has a record of 10-0 with eight knockouts in the pro ranks.

Itauma’s next fight is on the Usyk Fury 2 undercard, taking on Demsey McKean, an Australian native fighting out of England (22-1, 14 KOs).

British, Commonwealth and European lightweight champion Sam Noakes has also resigned. Noakes is currently 15-0 with 14 knockouts. He is scheduled to fight in the main event against Ryan Walsh of Norfolk (29-4-2, 13 KOs) on December 2 at the O2 Arena in London.
