NY Has A New Boxing Boss, Ndidi Massay

Ndidi Massay has been tapped to be the chairperson of the New York State Athletic Commission, for now on an interim basis, after Tom Hoover left the post Monday.

She comes in at a time of transition. MMA is in and boxing, we aren’t real sure about boxing. New regulations have been proposed, ones which will seemingly force a promoter to put up a seven figure bond, to go toward insuring an injury fighter. Here is a link to the wording:
