Cletus Seldin Headlines in Long Island

Five action packed fights will support the Cletus “The Hebrew Hammer” Seldin- Orlando Vazquez WBC International Silver Jr. Welterweight title fight, Friday, March 5th at The Paramount in Huntington, NY, on the Joe DeGuardia Star Boxing event.

The undercard will feature former Cuban amateur star Luis Franco (13-1-1 9KO Miami, FL) taking on Tyrone Luckey (8-5-2 6KO Middletown, NJ) in an 8 round Jr. Lightweight matchup.

Franco had a storied amateur career winning many national and international titles and has a draw with current WBA world champion Javier Fortuna. Luckey, in his last appearance at The Paramount, scored a huge upset win over popular local fighter Anthony Karperis on October 24, 2015.

A battle of undefeated Heavyweights will also highlight the stacked undercard as George Arias (4-0 3KO Bronx, NY) takes on James Hammortree (6-0 6KO Ocala, FL) in a hard hitting 4 round Heavyweight bout where someone's “0” will go.

Tyrone James (1-0 1KO Elmont, NY) will take on Nyein Muang (2-1-2 Utica, NY) in a 4 round Welterweight bout. James will be making his Star Boxing debut as he fights at The Paramount for the first time.

Exciting brawler Johnny Hernandez (6-1 2KO Huntington, NY) steps in with the always dangerous Jose Guzman (6-12-1 Bronx, NY) in a 6 round Lightweight fight.

Returning after more than a year layoff in which time he completed Culinary school will be Alan Gotay (8-2 4KO Huntington, NY) battling undefeated Brayan Rendon ( 2-0 1KO North Bergen, NJ).

Doors open at 7:00pm with the first bout scheduled for a 7:30pm start.
