PBC Scraps Run TONIGHT On FS1

The main event to screen on ESPN is taking up space and oxygen, but there’s a low key offering to run on FS1 which could provide an under radar bang for the buck this evening.
The co main, pitting Nigerian Efetobor Apochi vs Joe Jones should be a solid scrap. Efe, residing in Texas, holds a win over declining prospect Earl Newman (then 10-1-1), while Jersey’s Jones has lost step up fights, but will fight fan friendly rounds.
Efe is aggressive, a motion machine, not close to being refined, but has heavy hands, so it might be worth your while to seek out this tussle.
Editor/publisher Michael Woods became addicted to boxing in 1990, when Buster Douglas shocked the world with his demolition of the fearsome Mike Tyson. The Brooklyn-based journalist Woods has covered the sport since then, for ESPN The Magazine, ESPN.com, ESPN New York, RING, and he was editor of TheSweetScience.com from 2007-2015. Woods is also an accomplished blow by blow and color man, having done work for Top Rank, DiBella Entertainment, EPIX, and numerous other organizations.
