Dana White Goes Nuclear on “Disgusting” Online Haters Celebrating Charlie Kirk’s Death

The UFC president Dana White went off on people mocking Charlie Kirk’s tragic death. The Turning Point USA co-founder was gunned down at Utah Valley University on September 10.

White called out the sick behavior during a recent interview, making it clear that celebrating anyone’s death crosses the line. He said free speech must be protected but bluntly marked the reactions as “disgusting.”

Kirk, 31, was shot and died in Utah while speaking at an event at the university campus. The suspect, 22-year-old Tyler Robinson, later turned himself in. Prosecutors say the attack was politically motivated and are pushing for the death penalty.

The killing became a national headline. However, as a political influencer, Kirk has also earned plenty of haters who seemingly called his assassination karma, while some posted memes celebrating his death.

Even schools, colleges, and organizations sacked those employees who showed disrespect to the late political influencer. It even kept rolling after Kirk’s memorial service. As the disrespect hit a new low, the UFC boss couldn’t stay quiet anymore.

He recently addressed the backlash during an interview with Jon Wertheim on CBS’s 60 Minutes. The 56-year-old came out swinging with his unfiltered take.

“I’m a big believer of free speech,” White said. “Unfortunately the most important speech to protect is hate speech.”

But he drew a hard line in the sand. “I hate cancel culture on both sides,” White continued. “All the stuff that’s going on with Charlie right now, I think you’re a disgusting human being if you’re celebrating the death of another human being.”

White balanced his stance like a fighter managing distance. He supports free speech but won’t tolerate people cheering for murder either.

“I don’t like trying to destroy people’s lives over doing something dumb,” he added.

The UFC CEO threw his support behind protecting speech he disagrees with. That’s the American way. But celebrating death? That’s where he taps out.

Dana White Pauses in Shock Upon Learning of Charlie Kirk’s Tragic Passing

White got the news like most people, through his phone blowing up. He opened up about that morning on Logan Paul’s IMPAULSIVE podcast. The news hit him like a knockout blow he never saw coming.

“I just woke up, and my phone was blowing up,” White said. “I was fucking blown away.”

The shock hit his whole family hard. His 19-year-old daughter took it especially hard. She’d followed Kirk on social media for years. Her generation felt close to him.

“I was actually surprised by how impacted my kids were,” White revealed. “My kids used to watch him on social media. She’s in college, and she’s been just destroyed over this thing for the last couple days. You have to feel horrible for his family. It’s fucking crazy.”

Kirk died doing what defined his entire career. He was hosting his signature campus debate format. Students could challenge his views face-to-face. He welcomed the confrontation from his heart but the shooter chose violence from the back like a coward. That was Kirk’s whole brand.
