You might want to get those nachos ready and tabled and your brew of choice open and ready to sip, because the Saturday night HBO PPV scrap between Gennady Golovkin and Danny Jacobs might not last that long.
Trainer Abel Sanchez talked to media before a Monday presser kicked off and gave a brevity warning.
Jacobs saw Kell Brook landing on GGG and thinks if he lands the same way, he will get that W, Sanchez was informed.
“I hope that he’s reading what he believes, and he comes to fight. Danny has power in both hands, but at the same time, when he’s delivering that power, he’s going to be opening himself up. When he does that, that’s when he’s going to get hurt. If he comes to fight, if he makes it a good offensive night, then we’re going to be treated to a short night. Either way, Danny’s got power too.”
