No, Jarrell Miller Has NOT Signed On With Eddie Hearn

Jacobs, left, and Miller, right, are both sitting pretty, with the potential for massive fights and paydays thisclose.

Because there’s so much chatter about who’s going to be fighting who next, and soon, within the heavyweight ranks, speculative chatter has been rampant.

One rumor I’ve heard making a fair bit of ground is that Jarrell “Big Baby” Miller has signed on with Brit dealmaker Eddie Hearn, who runs Matchroom, is aligned with Anthony Joshua and who has Danny Jacobs under his tent.

Let’s get this out there, then: No, Miller isn’t signed to Hearn.

“There is no deal with Eddie,” said Dmitriy Salita, the ex boxer businessman who DOES have a promotional agreement with Miller.

“I am co promoter of the Saturday show at Nassau Coliseum, with Eddie, hired as the local promoter,” Salita said. “Matchroom has been great to work with and we look forward to working with them in the future but they don’t have promotional rights on Jarrell. We are free agents.”

Meaning, Miller can pick and choose what side of the tracks he wants to do business. He could aim toward the Showtime aka Deontay Wilder side, or he could edge toward the middle, the Joshua side. Right now, Joshua’s deal with Showtime allows another network, namely HBO, to bid on his bouts. Showtime can top their bid and make the final bid on a Joshua scrap.
