In the night’s opener at Madison Square Garden’s big room, after the real opener, Johnathan Arroyo vs. Jordan Morales fell out, because of a Morales issue, we saw Nikita Ababiy meet and rudely greet Juan J. Barajas, in a super middleweight scrap.
Ababiy aka “White Chocolate” entered at 4-0, and came to the ring to the Beastie Boys’ ode to Brooklyn. His foe, from Mexico, was 5-0.
In the first,down went the loser. He was up, after rolling around..then collapsed again. A TKO was called. He stayed on his back for a bit more, and the Beasties blared again.
A left hook delivered as Barajas was over-loading on a right did the damage.
