Is EVERYONE assuming Terence Crawford gets the W over Egis Kavaliaskas on Saturday evening at Madison Square Garden in Manhattan?
Seems so….Though no, you don’t get even half a hint that the Nebraska boxer is looking past the Lithuanian Olympic vet who holds a 21-0-1 professional mark, since starting the meter in 2013.

Crawford (above, left, in Mikey Williams picture, looking into Egis’ soul) has been relaxed this week, but also able to summon the harsh intensity of his x-ray vision, that glare-stare which signifies he’s done the combat thing, and seems very suited for it. The WBO 147 champ owns a 35-0 mark and yes, it is expected he gets No. 36 at MSG.
But he’s been telling one and all that “Mean Machine” is strong, and someone who made the Olympics is likely not a bum. He seems to be geared up for a fight that won’t read like a rollover.
