Two heavy-handed heavyweights are set to take center stage this weekend — and our Hrgovic vs Dubois prediction is that both of these men will be looking to secure a big-time knockout.
While only one of these boxers has felt the agony of defeat in their professional careers, both have been in the ring against some of their division's top boxers.
Yet, this is the biggest fight of both of these boxer's careers. And our Filip Hrgovic vs Daniel Dubois prediction will let you know which of them should be getting their hand raised.
Hrgovic vs Dubois Prediction: Will Hrgovic's Undefeated Streak Continue?
Filip Hrgovic Preview
Filip “El Animal” Hrgovic — an undefeated Croatian boxer with a 17-0 professional record, which includes 14 KO victories — has got to be one win away for competing for an undisputed championship belt.
While Hrgovic hasn't received an opportunity against Usyk, Fury, or Joshua (yet), he did match up against top-tier heavyweight Zhilei Zhang in August 2022.
And although the fight was extremely close, and some believe Zhang did enough to earn the win, it was ultimately Hrgovic who got his hand raised.
Despite the close call, Hrgovic did a lot well in that bout; all of which will serve him against Dubois.
His right cross has got to be one of the most devastating punches in all boxing, and with a slight height advantage over Dubois, we expect Hrgovic to utilize his jab early and often.
While “El Animal” doesn't always have the best defense, our Hrgovic vs Dubois prediction is that he'll be looking for a knockout early, in hopes that defense doesn't come into play.
Daniel Dubois Preview
Daniel “Dynamite” Dubois — an English boxer with a 20-2 professional record, which includes 19 KO victories — continues to prove that he's deserving of being considered an elite heavyweight boxer.
And a win over Hrgovic this weekend will make Duboid undeniable, in that regard.
Although Dubois lost to Oleksandr Usyk in August 2023, the fight was not without controversy. In fact, some believe Dubois should have earned a TKO against Usyk in the earlier rounds.
Alas, that's not what ended up happening. But Dubois is ready to put that defeat behind him, once and for all.
Dubois' KO record might make it seem like he has the superior power over Hrgovic. However, he'd be surprised if that's the case on Saturday. For that reason, our Filip Hrgovic vs Daniel Dubois prediction is that Dubois will need to fight smart if he's to earn a win.
Our Hrgovic vs Dubois prediction: Hrgovic By Tough Decision
Our official Hrgovic vs Dubois prediction is that Filip Hrgovic will win the fight by decision, which is currently available at +450.
Perhaps we're crazy in thinking this fight won't end by finish. But since we have so much respect for each of these guys, we think they will continue to battle for all 10 rounds.
For that reason, we would also suggest taking this fight to go the distance, which you can get for about +200.
Winner of this bout should receive a title shot next!
