Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) is producing a barnburner of a show in Milton Keynes, England this weekend — and the BKFC 60 purse won’t be hoarded by the Lilley vs Tenaglia payouts.
While some BKFC cards headline former UFC fighters such as Mike Perry that the promotion has to pay well into the six figures for, the BKFC 60 purse will be divided more equally across the card, as the focus is instead on some local talent.
Although that doesn’t mean the BKFC 60 payouts are anything to scoff at. These warriors are entering the ring prepared to fight their hearts out — and are being compensated adequately enough for it.
BKFC 60 Payout: What Will Lilley vs Tenaglia Be Paid?
James Lilley Purse
James “Lights Out” Lilley has quickly become one of BKFC’s very best fighters — which is proven by the war he had against Tyler Goodjohn back in August 2022.
Lilley picked up another win after that, and then was defeated by Luis Palomino for the BKFC lightweight belt back in June 2023.
Yet, the impressive 8-1-1 pro bare knuckle record that Lilley has amassed so far in his career makes him one of the sport’s most experienced veterans.
And clearly BKFC sees a lot of value in Lilley, as they are placing him in a main event at a venue that isn’t too far from Lilley’s home country of Wales.
While we don’t know exactly what Lilley is making for this BKFC fight, we do have a rough idea waht other comparable main event fighters are making.
For that reason, we believe James Lilley will be earning a $40,000 BKFC 6o purse this weekend.
Franco Tenaglia Purse
The Argentinian Franco Tenaglia has been impressive ever since entering BKFC in August 2022. Prior to that, Tenaglia put on bare knuckle wars for other promotions.
Despite Tenaglia being relatively new to the promotion, his Lilley vs Tenaglia purse should place him among some of the better paid boxers that BKFC has to offer.
Given that Tenaglia is from South America, he won’t have as many fans at the event as Lilley — which means he will have played less of a part in ticket sales.
For that reason, we believe Franco Tenaglia is making around $30,000 in BKFC 60 prize money.
BKFC Payouts: What Other Fighters Can Expect
In the BKFC 60 co-main event, fans will be seeing Danny Christie going toe to toe with David “One More” Round.
Neither of these two fighters have the same amount of bare knuckle fighting experience as Lilley. Yet, they are both pretty big names within the BKFC community, and are likely being paid a fair amount in terms of BKFC 6o payouts.
In fact, we believe that Danny Christie is making about a $20,000 in BKFC 60 purse, while David Round is also making around $20,000 in BKFC 60 prize money.
While fighting bare knuckle — and all other combat sports, for that matter — can become a dangerous affair, we can only hope that these fighters are being paid what they’re worth.
