Freddie Roach Believes Crawford Underestimating Postol

It's a 50-50 in the mind of Freddie Roach, trainer to Viktor Postol, and he thinks his Ukrainian stud has a superb chance of an upset win, because the trainer is thinking Terence Crawford is underestimating his guy.

And why does Dedham Freddie think the Nebreskan is taking his eye off the ball in this 140 pound unification tango? Because he heard he was out and about late night once or so, and then broke training to be with his missus as she birthed a child. “I'm sure it's a great thing, having a kid, being there but my guy's wife is pregnant with twins, and he's working his ass off every day,” Roach told NYFIGHTS.

Freddie saw a report that Crawford is a 6 to 1 favorite and knows that lots of people are agreeing with those odds. “Everyone knows, HBO wants Crawford to win, and Arum does, but it's the perfect situation for a huge upset.”

..might be as good as those who laud him most are saying…but the wizard of the Wild Card wants to see it for himself, before he's a true believer. “Postol has fought some really quality opponents, especially the last couple, and he's knocked both out. He's really starting to sit down in his punches. Yeah, I think it's a fifty fifty fight and my kid has a very, very good chance to win. They are not that much different, on paper. Crawford has to show me he's the best. He might be, I just don't think so. He's in for a real test.”
