Looking Like Jarrell Miller To Fight Anthony Joshua in June in NYC

It's not done done done, but promoter Dmitriy Salita seems fairly confident that Jarrell Miller, the 300 pound behemoth from Brooklyn who has that cheeseburger jones like George Foreman did, will step up in class and challenge Anthony Joshua, the muscled Brit who is holds straps and is based in England.

Reports on Boxing Talk…

And Mike Coppinger's Twitter..

..say that we likely see AJ fight BBM in NYC on June 1 or June 8.

Salita said “Only in America!” when I pre-congratulated him.

Fastest rise to prominence for any promoter I recall, I told him.

Salita Promotions is headed up by ex fighter Dmitriy Salita.

Thanks, he said, but let's wait till all the Is and the T are fully formed.

“It is a serious consideration and we are having productive conversations and that option,” Salita said. “We know that AJ is considering a US debut and Joshua vs Miller is one of the biggest fights in boxing, whenever it happens!”

So, the deal is done?!! “That's not true,” he said.

“Close and far is the same in these kind of situations. There is no deal until it's signed and announced.”

So…talk to me. If and when it gets fully firmed…Anthony Joshua vs Jarrell “Big Baby” Miller…who wins and how?
