The stagers and some of the participants are choosing to neither confirm or deny, but word on the side street is that Keith Thurman will be gloving up again in early 2019.

The Florida resident, who last laced up in March 2017, has been on the shelf living his life, and enjoying newlywed time, and also rehabbing after an arm injury.

On Jan 26, he could be fighting at Barclays Center against Josesito Lopez. He holds a 28-0 record and last felt aglow from winning when he decisioned Danny Garcia.

Messages to promoters and PR types and building reps resulted in “I’m not sure” or a lack of a response.

So make that of what you will and stay tuned for clarification soon.
