Golovkin-Brook not the mismatch people think

Shit happens, we all know this as we make our way through the minefield of life, with occasional frolicking time thru poppy fields…

Shit, like catching a cold or a flu bug at THE most inopportune time, like when you’ve booked a luxury cruise, or are two days away from defending your middleweight titles.

The net is abuzz, with word that Gennady Golovkin, set to defend his straps against Kell Brook in two days, is under the weather.

Witness this tweet from a veteran sports reporter:

So, what of it, Golovkin trainer Abel Sanchez? Any truth to this rumor?

“Everybody has got a conspiracy theory, I love it,” Sanchez told NYFIGHTS. “I can say to you that he is sleeping, was in great spirits, went to sleep at 161, after his normal juice mix and a fruit salad.”

On Friday morning I point blank asked promoter Tom Loeffler if GGG had a cold, or something. “Nope, all good,” Loeffler said.

There ya go, friends. We asked, they answered.
