FIGHTNIGHT LIVE RECORD SET: Over 564,00 Watched Tuesday Bouts

Facebook Fightnight Live traveled to Sands Casino in Bethlehem, PA and presented fights pit together by King’s Promotions and Marshall Kauffman on Tuesday. The undercard was solid and the main event absolutely rocked; the word of mouth on the scrap between Anthony Mercado and Victor Vazquez, repping Puerto Rico and Yonkers respectively, led to a massive surge if views.

As of 12 noon on Wednesday, more than 564,000 views were tallied by Facebook fans who watched the 8 bout card.

Linacre Media and Mark Fratto..

..hatched the Fightnight Live concept in 2017, and the second season of the series kicked off in PA Sept. 14.

I called the action ringside, doing blow by blow, and Marc Abrams handled color, along with guest Kermit Cintron..

..the former welterweight champion who just announced his retirement, for the superlative main event.

The series has been buoyed with news that Everlast has come aboard, as title sponsor. The venerable outfit has been providing equipment and apparel  for boxers and fight folks since 1910.

I recommend you not read my account, but instead watch the bouts and particularly the final scrap between two ultra gritty junior welterweights.
