CANELO VS. ROCKY AT MADISON SQUARE GARDEN

SPORTS STREAMING PLATFORM OFFERS UP TWO RINGSIDE SEATS FOR
U.S. COMMANDER-IN-CHIEF TO HOST MEXICO’S NEW PRESIDENT

NEW YORK | Dec. 7, 2018 – Today, America’s new sports streaming platform, DAZN, took out full-page ads in USA Today (U.S.) and La Reforma (Mexico) to offer ringside seats to President Trump and newly sworn-in President López Obrador of Mexico for Canelo vs. Rocky at Madison Square Garden on Dec. 15.

The open letter in USA Today read:

Dear President Trump,

There’s a new President in Mexico and in time, you’ll welcome him to our nation’s capital.

We have a better idea. A chance for you to host President López Obrador at one of your country’s greatest buildings in front of one of his country’s national heroes.

We’re offering you two ringside seats for Canelo Alvarez vs. Rocky Fielding at Madison Square Garden on December 15.

Our nation’s new sports streaming platform DAZN (pronounced Da-Zone) will make the fight available for free for new subscribers. So millions will be watching.

No sitting president has ever attended a prize fight. You would be the first.

Let’s make some history on December 15.

Now, DAZN will await the response.

Canelo vs. Rocky marks the first fight of Canelo Alvarez’s blockbuster 11-fight partnership with DAZN. The groundbreaking, exclusive deal with Canelo is the richest athlete contract in sports history and the Dec. 15 showdown at the historic Madison Square Garden will officially usher the new era of boxing as the undisputed king of pay-per-view boxing will fight for a low monthly subscription cost of $9.99 after a one-month free trial.
