I’d bet we will hear fairly soon as to what’s next for Senator Manny Pacquiao, the pugilistic politician, who looked real solid in his last outing, when he handled Adrien Broner with ease.
Pacman is 40, but got even another boost when elder statesman of the links Tiger Woods stormed back to glory, with a Masters victory.

I caught up with “Dedham” Freddie at Madison Square Garden, days before his kid Christopher Diaz…
…was set to test Shakur Stevenson, the high grade prospect who is gunning for a title shot in the second half of the year. (“On Saturday, Shakur gotta be careful…I just come to fight, put pressure, I do everything to get the win,” said Diaz.)
And, from Mr Roach: “Manny, they are looking for somebody to fight. They wanted to re-match Mayweather, Freddie said, but Floyd seems to be staying retired for now. “Right now they’re talking about Errol Spence and those big guys. Is Spence a bridge too far? Maybe…I like Mikey Garcia, think that’s a great fight, but Mikey probably needs a fight first.”
And would Freddie be in the Manny corner next bout? We shall see…. “He calls, we’re on good terms,” the Massachusetts man noted.
Freddie also plugged his 140 fighter, now 2-0, one Elvis Rodriguez. He comes from the Dominican Republic, and Freddie said he’s a legit badass. He said Elvis will be signing with Top Rank this week.
