Irish Star Carl Frampton Is Charming NYC


Carl Frampton is in tough July 30, at Barclays Center, heading up in weight to try and take down ace Leo Santa Cruz, but he seems on message mentally, while making the promotional rounds in the Big Apple.

The Irish bright light drew a solid crowd at a meet and greet at the Irish consulate.

New York, July 18-Irish Consul General Hosts Reception for Team Frampton: Irish Consul General Barbara Jones hosted a reception on Monday night to galvanize Irish-Americans and expatriates to support unbeaten Irish star Carl Frampton in his quest for the WBA Featherweight Championship at Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Saturday night, July 30. “The Jackal” is pictured with his Hall of Fame manager Barry McGuigan and Barry’s son Shane McGuigan, his trainer. Frampton faces titleholder Leo Santa Cruz in the highly-anticipated class to be televised by Showtime Championship Boxing. Over 100 attended the meet and greet at the Irish Consulate in New York City.
