JJ confirmed as much right after finishing up the grand arrival ceremony in Vegas as he ticks down to the 175 showdown between his client Sergey Kovalev and Andre Ward.
Jackson wins trainer of the year if he goes 2-2 in the next month.
He told me he thinks Hopkins has enough to best Smith, knows how good Smith is and that he isn’t doing this for moolah, he is looking forward to helping concoct a winning game plan.
