Everlast Signs Two-Year Glove Deal With Superstar Errol Spence

New York, NY – November 14, 2018 – Everlast Worldwide, the world’s leading manufacturer, marketer and licensor of boxing, MMA and fitness equipment, has announced a 2-year glove deal with welterweight boxing champion Errol Spence Jr.

Spence Jr has held the IBF Welterweight title since 2017 and is currently ranked as the third best pound for pound boxer according to BoxRec.

“Errol has always been a champion. From his amateur days winning the Golden Gloves and seven national amateur welterweight championships to his now three consecutive title defenses and perfect 24 and 0 professional record featuring 21 knock outs,” said Chris Zoller, Vice President of Marketing and Product Development for Everlast. “Errol is a rare talent and truly embodies the values of Everlast. We are honored to be a part of his journey to carry the torch for the new breed of boxers worldwide. With the help of Adrian Clark, we were able to add one of the very best fighters in the sport to the #TeamEverlast family.”

With early round stopping power, the undefeated 28 year old southpaw has run through the welterweight division ever since being named ESPN’s prospect of the year in 2015 and is excited to be a part of a brand he is so familiar with. “I’ve been wearing Everlast gloves since the amateurs, said Errol. As a pro, I definitely like the MX and Powerlocks {gloves}. I am happy to announce our exclusive glove deal and I look forward to a continued partnership with Everlast Worldwide.”

First knocking off IBF welterweight champion Kell Brook to gain possession of the belt, Spence then took out two challengers in Lamont Peterson and undefeated Carlos Ocampo. Errol now has his sights set on welterweight unification.

Errol becomes the newest athlete added to Everlast’s already impressive roster featuring the likes of heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder and UFC lightweight Dustin Poirier.
