Regarding A Cletus Seldin-Antonio Orozco Fight…


A reasonably compelling 140 pound faceoff was proposed to appear on the Bernard Hopkins-Joe Smith undercard Dec 17, but other options are being pursued and thus, Long Islander Cletus Seldin looks to the holidays with a bit less cheer than he hoped to have.

“We wanted to make Cletus, 19-0, against Antonio Orozco, 25-0, and me and Golden Boy were on the same page. But HBO decided on other fights, so we’re still looking to get it on HBO, but not Dec 17,” explained Seldin promoter Joe DeGuardia.

The 30 year old “Hebrew Hammer,” a hammer fist who enjoys swinging for the fences, against a 28 year old Cali resident sporting a 25-0.

The finishing touches are being put on the Hopkins v Smith undercard, Eric Gomez of GBP told us.

Rumor has it 22-0 Joseph Diaz will get a televised undercard slot.

That card is being promoted mainly by Golden Boy and will run at the Forum in Los Angeles.
